The Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research (NUCSER) is the University's premier interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to advancing education and research in the biological sciences. NUCSER offers interdisciplinary, application-oriented, and skill-based postgraduate and doctoral programmes that prepare students for careers in research, biotechnology, healthcare, and academia. The curriculum integrates rigorous theoretical training with extensive hands-on experience in advanced molecular biology, microbiology, genomics, immunology, bioinformatics, and other cutting-edge technologies.
With a strong emphasis on the One Health approach, NUCSER addresses infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, zoonoses, environmental health, and other emerging global health challenges. Through collaborations with leading international universities and support from competitive national and international funding agencies, the Centre is committed to developing innovative solutions that improve human, animal, and environmental health. NUCSER also offers a Ph.D. programme in Biological Sciences, fostering the next generation of researchers and scientific leaders.
This conference is jointly organized with the Australian National University (ANU) and Murdoch University, Australia, creating an internationally recognized platform for scientific exchange, collaborative research, and innovation in host–pathogen biology, infection, immunity, and global health under one health agenda.
